Tempted to go with seats as opposed to the floor for London as I'll be going with someone who is pretty small but don't want to be miles away. I see it's going to be done by Seniority so wondering where my number of 201XXX fits in to the grand scheme of things, I was fairly late joining (2001 I think), does make me fairly Junior in the seating arrangements? :?

I wouldn't think 10c has that any seats so with your number (better than mine, but I prefer standing) I'd guess that you'd end up in the mid 101 or 112, and at WORSE 102 or 111 (http://www.eventtravel.com/cms/display_ ... _objid=222)

I can't be sure but I'd bet on it if I wanted seats.

I'd say 201XXX is a pretty good number for a european. Okay, it doesn't stand up to a lot of american numbers, but a lot of europeans probably stopped updating their 10c membership somewhere in the 6 year drought. And as Pegasus says, they won't have that many seats seeing as the 10c tickets are split between seats and standing.

I'm actually quite curious as to how the 10c seniority will work out in Europe. I doubt there'll be anywhere near as many low numbers as on a US tour.

Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

I'm 346xxx and I'm just stoked that all the fanclub members will (I presume) be all sat together in the same block of seats (hopefully near the stage)...it should make for a great night!

  • i dont mind seated or standing but my wife is only 5 2" so she cant see fuck all if she stands!and better to make the most of seniority dont you think?
    COYS!
  • That sounds pretty reassuring. Credit Card account level pending, I've gone standing for Manchester and seats for London but this is mainly due to my other attendee for London. She's even smaller than 5'2, we went to Wembley in 2007 and she heard a great gig, she didn't see a vast amount though. It was also the loudest gig we'd both been too, my ears are still ringing a bit now.

What do you mean by 6 year drought? Was this the period after 96? It's funny you mention that because that was around the time I lost track of pearl jam and didn't get back into them til 2002 (when I finally got internet at home). I never thought that other people might have done the same thing.

Did this happen to other europeans too? (I guess I should start a thread on this..)

I meant the gap between the 2000 and 2006 tours. I'm sure sometime during that period some people would give up or forget and not update their number.

I've ordered Manchester and London tickets and I have order numbers for both and there in my order history but I am wondering when were meant to get the second emails out? People the other day told me not to worry tho.
    Let them wash away
    All those yesterdays
    All those yesterdays
    All those paper plates
  • I've ordered a couple of times before and the best thing to do is keep an eye on the account for the card you used. When the money comes out that is pretty much confirmation, e-mails follow shortly afterwards.

Oh I see, it was just me then lol. I missed the 2000 show due to my own "drought", i didn't even know they were playing till I saw a tiny ad in the press and I missed out on the tickets til a week after they went on sale!

Hey, I live in the U.S. and would like to see a show in Europe. The London show is what I'm considering and I need to be convinced to go. (I saw them three times last year Hartford and both Boston shows). I would probably do seats and can't convince anyone of my friends to go, so I would end up with an extra tic. BTW, my number is 35,xxx. What kind of seats do you think I would end up with? Any thoughts?

Nope, not just you! I took a small 'break' around then too... Didn't buy No Code or Yield till after... Lost my low 10c number, and didn't rejoin 10c untill 2000 (whereupon fate had me working in Cardiff during the Manchester gig, and Manchester during the Cardiff gig - those were the worst of times)

Yes, I have been to some Pearl Jam concerts. Several of them.

If you're not in the first couple of rows with a 5 digit 10c number, I'll eat my hat

you'll be right next to 2 of my friends and very close on teh side.
but if you're coming to Europe, you should do GA since you don't get them in the US... that's where the atmosphere is anyway.
