How to add Subtitles to a movie??

O.k, so I've downloaded some Chinese subtitles for 'Into the Wild'. How do I add them to the movie on my p.c?

    Check doom9.net. They seem to be up on video processing methods. That's about the extent of my knowledge.

    VLC Player can do it (it's a .srt I assume)
