New member to 10c....couple ?s

been following the band for years, and have always had success getting great tickets to the shows i wanted despite not being a 10c member....well...for some reason i joined this morning!! #431xxx

just a few questions....

1- am i eligible for the christmas single if i just joined today? im thinking the answer is no here

2- same as #1 but the DEEP mag?

3- what kind of tix should i expect when i order my first pair through 10c?
like i said....have always gotten great seats to PJ shows..including MSG II this past year and Philly 05 and all the recent Camdens and DCs..

i think it is a no to #'s 1 and 2

and dont except great seats with a number of 431xxx you will have the last seats that the 10c allots to club members

Not great tickets, especially on the east coast and in bigger cities.

maybe since none of the members have gotten the single or deep you could email 10c and tell them your situation...worth a try

thanks for all the input.

ill prob continue my usual ways of attempting to get tickets....i always manage to secure amazing seats without being in the 10c..so i wont abandon those ways...but its always nice to know if i get 10c tix that i may hit the lottery and be right up front.

What are those ways and what kinds of seats? I'm considering ditching my 10c membership because I'm not sure it's worth my $ to get marginally better seats to 1-2 shows ever 4 years.

usually i just buy 10c tix off my friends/acquaintances who have had extras in the past

MSG II was a matter of sneaking past the sub-par arena staff and sitting in the lower bowl just over Booms shoulder...was not bothered at all once i got down there.

philly 05 was the same way..somehow made it onto the floor for the last couple of songs.

I wonder if the 10C may consider doing something in '09 or in the future to avoid the influx of people who have signed up for the 10C since last June in the hope of "hitting the lottery."

The reality is that even with a 10C membership you are not guarenteed 10C tickets to any of the shows. So you may end up going back to your former ways of scoring great seats anyway.
