(upstate NY Albany & Saratoga GREAT PLACE to see them) I really can't complain that much, but we got them in 91 & 92 and did not get them again until 2000. They were here also in 03 & 06, and of course EV kicked off his Solo Tour in Albany(missed it though due to work). I would like to see them come to our area more often as the travel that I use to not mind takes a toll on my body due to some work related injuries. I did make it to Philly for night4, and it was well worth the journey. We are not far from MA and CT locals they play, but it would be nice to give Empire State Capital it's due and I have heard on local interview when they were at Saratoga last time they really like playing there, paraphasing, SPAC is one of the best sounding/favorite venues in country and they liked vibe of Saratoga(Great Little city north of Albany) in the summer with Saratoga Race Track & the Travers stakes(oldest major thoroughbred race in country and highlight of meet). They were here during Track season in 92' & 2000(August) Great Night Life for little city, lot's of celebrities & Rich Folks(not impressed usually as work some security at track & other Clubs). Sorry to get off topic, but can't help selling upstates best city & venues Saratoga Performing Arts Center(SPAC), seen PJ there and probably at least 15-20 other acts always GREAT sound and ambience!

I used to live a 2 hour drive from Toronto, Buffalo, and Detroit. I never realized how lucky I was until I moved to Calgary. I never took advantage of all 3 cities on a tour (mostly cause I was too young and was in school), but now that I am far from "playable" cities, I feel for those that have "suffered" for so long.
Yes I realize that PJ did Calgary this year, and I thank my lucky stars. I'm sure that was a one off, and it will be quite some time before that luck happens again. Here's to saving up some plane ticket money!

(or anywhere in NM, though I can't really see them playing Las Cruces again, and nowhere in Santa Fe big enough...how about a small show along the lines of Santa Barbara Bowl?) We have not had a show since Binaural in 2000...it wasn't completely sold out but there also weren't loads of empty seats either. Between California and Austin, TX lies NM (and AZ...and Red Rocks...sort of)

Albuquerque 98 was one of the best PJ shows I've ever seen hands down.

God damn right, it was!! (do you have the video of that concert? It's pretty great even just on video)

See you would THINK they might remember that... Ed might go, "I remember the couple times I broke a hole in the stage and exited out under there at the end, those were good times... only happened a couple times, _______ (can't remember, it's in place/date) and Albuquerque. Man, that was amazing." Plus Jesse from the Touring Band DVD happened here! Lots of memories! And Las Cruces '95 was one of the dates on the short canned/rescheduled tour from hell... they played two hours and twenty minutes and they only had 3 albums at the time!

I met Jeff on the Three Fish tour in Santa Fe and he said he loves coming through the desert/southwest. Plus Stone used to do some studio work in Santa Fe. There are many, many reasons they should play here again before we all die.

I am a Rush fan, and they do much longer, bigger tours than Pearl Jam. But they have played here THREE times between 2002 and the upcoming summer (opening their tour here--they did skip us on the 2004 tour). And guess what? In 2008 they were nowhere close to sold out. Pearl Jam, you probably won't sell out if you play in New Mexico, especially since most people have forgotten about you since you've ignored us for 10 years, but Rush didn't sell out either, and they are coming back 2 years later. So you should too. Oh, you should also play 2 sets like RUsh and play for 3 hours. :)

    (end rant)

Pretty cool list, and funny to see that some of those cities are on the tour this time. Really funny seeing Philly on there.

Being a fan in the South, I'm just happy to have the boys playing within a 6 hour drive radius. So stoked for the KC and St. Louis shows. As a Sooner, I'd even be happy for a tour of texas. Something, anything close. Spread the Jam....
