Kudos! My dad ran about 2 a year when I was younger... so I pretty much grew up at the finish line. :) Good job.

Congrats! I just got my Ipod Nano so I'm going to get the Nike sport thingy where it'll track your distance ran. I haven't ran in over 20 years but I am going to give it a shot......

Kudos to you, though I will never understand why people want to run marathons. The name came from a Greek legend where a guy ran 26 miles to inform a general of the result of a battle and then dropped dead. DROPPED DEAD. So now people go, "Wow, that sounds like fun. I'm gonna do it too!" :)

Congratulations! That is awesome. Keep up the good work!

By the way, which marathon did you run?

The Kentucky Derby Marathon in Louisville?

The Country Music Marathon in Nashville? I had a friend that ran this one and know lots of people that usually do it. I will have to get down there for the Half sometimes. I'm not a marathon person - attention span too short.

its hard to get close ones to understand why its so important to spend so much time running- my girlfriend is not very compassionate about it- how do you tell someone youd rather run than be with them?

Thanks! It was the Country Music Marathon. I was on a team that was doing it for a cancer support center, The Wellness Community.
