    London flight to Rotterdam
    Rotterdam train to Berlin
    Berlin flights to Manchester
    Manchester bus to London

More details once I get the cheap fare, lest I post the cheap stuff I found for someone to take before I can actually afford to pay for them!

not set in stone yet but:

-fly London to Amsterdam on 12th or earlier maybe to spend a day there (though might fly from France if I decide to go see the family before the tour)
-train Amsterdam-Rotterdam on 13th at dawn maybe..unless the night before and stay in Rotterdam if there's anywhere interesting (aka with the crew..the london/Dublin/verona/Wombat/venice/ etc one I mean ;))
-trains Rotterdam to Berlin on the 14th.
    - flight Berlin on the 16th to.. either London, stop home for change of clothes and on to Manchester in car/bus/train..or indirect flight :( to Manchester.
    Manchester-London either bus/car/train after the show/next morning..

gosh that's an easy one compare to the last 3 years! (mind you I don't know what crazy journey I'm going to have in the US)

The trains in Europe are a great way to get around. Very clean and fast and for the most part right on time always. :) If I could I would go. Have fun everyone. :)
  • I wish I could afford to do all 4. Kudos to you guys. I'll just be at the 2 UK shows.
    2006 - Astoria, Dublin, Leeds
    2007 - London
    2009 - London, Manchester, London
    2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London
    2011 - Alpine Valley x2
    2012 - Isle of Wight, Manchester x2

    you're coming?! YEAH!!
well, standing if you ask the Europeans.. but only if you 're not one of those people that need their personal space..there's no such thing at a Euro GA show...at least not unless you stand at the back

tourist thing? well, never been to Rotterdam (but it's only 1 hour from Amsterdam which is very nice..might actually go a day early to see it in summer) or Manchester (I can't think of anything to see in Manchester...)
there's of course lots to see in Berlin and London.

so I say, do the ones at the end: Rotterdam, spend a couple of days in Amsterdam, then London and you visit that too.. easiest transport-wise as well, cheap flight between the 2, or you can take the Eurostar through Brussels... how long have you got?

Wow, really?!! Congrats!! I'm so psyched about Hawaii and now this.. Can't take it! :D Just remember, European pre-parties would be the night before, not so much day of

Enjoy the touristy things and the company, that's what's most important!

    don't encourage them Hinn!
it's nothing to do with that, a good deal of the taxes are US ones.. and the rest are fuel ones that got hugely hiked since there's a war in the middle east..
$850 return from SF?..mm, I guess for August it's probably right.
