We Decided To Go To Nashivlle: Need Two Tickets

My hubby, mysmallself, & I had been talking about this seriously and decided to go for it - driving down to Nashville from Detroit and staying at a cheap motel outside of Nashville....

...but we need two tickets. Difficult, I know...and I refuse to bid for tickets on e-Bay because the prices are more than face value. We will pay face value for 2 tickets.

And... I need those tickets ASAP because I have an unique situation that needs to be worked out with Ryman since all ADA seating are sold out so Ryman and I need to work together to make this work and it'd take me at least a month working with someone. :p

I spoke with the supervisor and she said as soon as I got the confirmation on the tickets - ie, the location of our seats then we'll start working together.

Sorry for another ISO thread...but this is kinda unique and time-sensitive.

Yes, I am aware the timing isn't good with too much excitement for the European shows! We are thrilled for you people on the other side! :)

Now I can start crossing my fingers for the possibility of going to Nashville.... *cross fingers* :)
JA: Why do I get the Ticketmaster question?

If ya'll do make the trip please RSVP for the pre-party/fun-draiser for Nashville Cares.. It's gonna be a kick-ass time... and be careful where you stay... AVOID Trinity Lane hotels... NASTY!! If you are on a super tight budget I suggest something either off of Rivergate Parkway or Long Hollow Pike (Exits 96 and 97 Off I-65 to the North) or maybe off of Harding (Exit 78 I-65 to the South) Trinity Lane is almost as bad as the rougher areas of Detroit.. It's dirt cheap for a reason :|

    Yeah...seems reasonable for a scalper. :p

But thanks for the heads up, though... I still only will pay face value for tickets and if I can't find any... then it's too bad for us. I'm relying on the 'graduation gift' to cover for all of this and my/his family are also on a tight budget. Michigan, ya know? :p

Nice!!! I don't want to be separated from my husband, though... it's not a PJ or EV show without him! Never gone without him and don't intend to...even in separate seats. :)

I was checking TM for the past 3 days....but I'll keep trying. Never know!

We'll talk about RSVP'ing for the pre-party because at this time we are talking about sightseeing in Nashville before the show starts and we might have some time to make it to the pre-party! I'll probably RSVP just in case... when I get tickets.

Pre-parties are really fun and certainly makes the show even more exciting!

Aye... we were looking at Days Inn and managed to get two days for 50 a night. It comes with free internet and an outdoor pool! :D

Buttt.... I'm NOT holding my breath... just see what happens considering the show is sold out and two seats together available. :p

    I'm just being hopeful!

last ed tour there were at least 15 tickets that were under face value the day of and a day or two before the shows...its risky but cheap!

I am sure that if u get 2 singles the Ryman will help considering your situation.. Ask for Wade.. He is the boxoffice manager.. He will go out of his way to help you...

Risky, indeed! Yikes.... that would be crazy driving all the way down to Nashville from Detroit just to find out there isn't any tickets!

We'd puke for sure... lol And banging our heads for being idiots!

EDIT: I'm even more of an idiot...because a day or two would not be enough to work out the situation, even if we "dare" to drive down there without tickets in our tickets. I have to have tickets before working with Ryman. :?

That's a good suggestion! I was talking to Bonita... she's a supervisor there. She said she'd work with me but I could also ask about Wade if there's a problem with the singles should it come to that.

I'll keep checking TM for both singles/pairs!

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions - it is getting me excited...
