Advice - how to get from Rotterdam to Berlin??

Anyone got any ideas for the best/cheapest way?? Hoping to travel on 14th Aug and be settled in for an early start on 15th!

I'm tempted to do it as well but only if there is a few of us.

That seems like too long a way. After Rotterdam,lay your "head" back in Amsterdam then head over to England for the last 2 shows.

Hi, if you interested, lets take a car ( around 650 km - 5h - 6 hours).
I will rent a care and drive to Berlin.
So we can split the gas costs.

I'm doing this too and struggling with finding flights - was thinking of flying back to Luton and then back out to Berlin (a bit expensive!).Will be travelling on my own so will have spares for each of Rotterdam and Berlin - would be great to meet up/travel with some UKers doing the two shows.

I'm sure some of the locals can fill in the details better than me... however when i lived in Germany, local airlines are the way to go for flights (meaning travelocity.com, expeidia.com, etc. rarely have good deals if you can even find the destinations you're looking for). Easyjet is a good local one for the region. Also Opodo is a good site for flights in europe. If you speak english, you'll want to go to Here. (but for giggles I put in some close dates in August and got nothing... so... i dunno what that means).

Also, http://www.bahn.de can get you train tix. It says the trip is 7 hours and and since you have all day friday might be worth checking it out?

Ah - didn't go for return - was £136 one way for a 2 berth cabin. Flying back from Berlin and using some loyalty points.
