Noooooooo!!!!!

Was made redundant at the end of Nov last year (at the same time as my other half). Had insurance to pay out half my monthly wage, they've been paying out nicely - got a letter this morning " after a review of your case we regret to inform you that due to clause 8b your insurance is cancelled and we will no longer be paying out any further"

PJ are coming to Europe and we can't go to see them as much as I want to! They're on our doorstep and we'll either be working or skint by then. Sodding luck, where's a lottery win when you need it????

I'm going to cry in a corner all day - congrats to anyone who is able to make a few shows!!

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Aw, thank you so much for that! There are some great people out there!

    Hopefully we'll still be able to make one or possibly 2 shows, depending on where they're at and when. Hopefully I'll be able to get a decent job that will let me have some time off in August anyway. Would love to make the Berlin show! Initial shock lead to the :cry: !

    And Dunk - clause 8b should most definitely be kicked in the bollards! :evil: :evil:

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Fuck it - you only live once and there's only 4 dates.

    After a morning of panic we now have tickets for all 4 dates :o !

    Apologies for the hysterionics :oops: !

    Not looking good for getting near the barrier with only Berlin having early entry though - there should be a 'runt' enclosure at the front for runts and their partners :P !
