Nashville Recommendations

I'm planning a long weekend/Vacation in Nashville for the EV show, and am starting to plan it. I've never been to this city before, so I'm looking for any recommendations on places to see/bars to go to/places to eat, etc, from anyone that knows. Are there any MUST VISIT locations? I like to find a great local eatery, and want to hit the music scene when going out to the bars at night.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what to do that weekend? Thanks in advance.....

brunch at South Street which is directly behind The Great Escape (vinyl/comics/dvd/cd store) order the Mike's Way named after one of my oldest and dearest friends mike manning. Stop bý the Country Music Hall of Fame and say hi to him and take the tour. Definitly go by Grimey's New and Pre-Loved music.. They regularly have live music in the store. Lots to see and do in Music City.

I've never been, but a buddy has went a few times and he says there is no shortage of bars downtown with great music comin out of them. Several of them are regular-d by the music stars of the area.

It's one of the biggest music cities in the world, so if you dig music, you should find plenty to do.

Gotta stop by Ernest Tubbs record store on Broadway. It's only a few blocks down from the Ryman. Otherwise head southwest (towards the Vanderbilt area between division/demonbreun st and west end ave) and you'll find some interesting bookstores and restaurants.

    Have fun.
