U have a free site anywhere? - Geocities's shutting down

i'm kinda bummed............. :(

Any free hosting site that rivals geocities? Last I was on tripod I thought it sucked because of the pop up ads.

If you have a free site what do you use?
I’ll pay yahoo I guess if it comes to it……..my site’s too kickass to loose it.

    I have a huge poetry site on geocities. I haven't heard about them shutting down. I never check the e-mail from yahoo. That's where that info would be funneled to. Oh well, I spent about a year or more designing it. I really don't want to do it again somewhere else. Plus, Geocities had it set up so it was so easy to do.
    I have no idea where I can go and create it again so easy.
    I guess I won't. I know I am not willing to pay for it.
    Save room for dessert!

    I just run my own site and a couple of adult blogs that I won't bother posting here.

    I just pay for the domain and hosting and have done with it.

    so i wonder..........i need to go back to the message on file manager...........is yahoo shutting down the free one or all on their web hosting?

    If you're willing to pay Yahoo, I think your money would be better spent on a domain and real hosting service... but if you rely on a pagebuilder or something, maybe you should stick with Yahoo...

    Yeah I put in a lot of time into advocacy and posting it there so I for sure don’t want to loose it.
