Crohn's Legislation Passes WA Legislature (PJ Related)
The emergency restroom access bill passed the Washington legislature unanimously in the House and awaits signature from the governor. If signed then it would become law.
Mike testified for this bill so it's cool that it worked out!!

Happy day!
congrats Washington residents! You done good!
First of all words truly can't express the appreciation I have for Mike and his efforts to make people aware of Crohn's ... especially since it's not fun to talk about... every time I read about something he's done for the "Crohn's Community" I get a bit emotional...
Anyway, what I wanted to say is that this is HUGE for people who suffer from Crohn's Disease... I have been in this type of situation before and it's not fun at all... I remember one incident I had soon after I was diagnosed... I had to run into a local Chinese restaurant ... I knew about their policy of having to be a customer to use the potty but there was nothing else in the area that was open... Well I had to go EXTREMELY BAD... So, I ran in really fast up to the counter and basically screamed that I wanted an eggroll (since it's only like a buck) and then I ran to the bathroom... When I came out I threw the money on the counter and left the eggroll there... I didn't want it... not with the way I was feeling that day.... but stuff like that shouldn't happen to ANYONE really.
I know it might not seem like a big deal to most but... running around like an idiot worrying that you're going to shit your pants in public and then finding a bathroom.... only to find out that they won't let you use it... it's very cruel... I've bought a handful of small items from stores in order to use the bathrooms before... it's a shame.
Thank you Mike.
I can't believe restraunt owners could be so insensitive Stephen Flow. I mean cmon whats the big deal in letting someone use your bathroom without buying.
