That sounds pretty scary. Who would have thought the Falcons would bounce back the way they did after all the Vick bullshit.

couldn't have said it any better dude......that franchise looked like it would be in limbo for up to 4-5 years. This is so smart for them, not only cause Tony is one of the best ever at that position...he has knowledge for the young guys.

And they have had success building through the draft

the best part of the trade, they didn't have to trade any picks THIS year... now they can go out & draft for the Defense

i'm not sure they make the playoffs again in '09, but they'll be stocked & ready for 2010

Yeah, the Falcons have a tough road in '09 so if they did make the playoffs, imagine what next year would be like. Gonzalez is a great pickup.

I'm totally bummed. I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and Gonzalez has been my favorite Chief for a while now. He was worth a first rounder in my mind. Tony, you will be missed.

It's a great offense but remeber this is the team that in 40 years has never had back to back winning seasons. They've got like the 4th toughest schedule in the league this year, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sophomore slump from Ryan (most of the great QBs in the last 10 years have had one, don't hate on me Matty Ice fans). They'll be lucky to get to .500
