Why do people go overboard with this!?

I work in a beauty supply and just had a customer who looked like the walking dead....pulled tight! It was so strange talking to her, I didn't know where to look.... Nothing moved. Also, she was buying a mess load of fake hair, false eye lashes, fake nails...etc.

If I had to guess by the things she was talking about (her children, etc.) I'd think she was in her mid 60's... But the rest of her was very confusing.

I'm not 'against' plastic surgery but something about doing too much of it...just doesn't seem right(but I guess that goes for everything). I felt like I was talking to a walking doll. It was very strange.

**sorry, again just another usless thought thread of mine :D

hehehe this reminds me of a story about my dad.

Several years ago my dad had some skin cancer removed from his face. The surgeon was talking to him about how he can make the incision this way or that to minimize the scar. My dad was all 'meh' about it it. And then the surgeon was all like 'Oh and we can straighten/fix your nose too' Its a little crooked, which my dad claims is for breaking it a long time ago, but I see that my uncles have crooked noses, and also my oldest brother has a bit of a bent nose (and no he never broke his nose) so I think it might be a family trait as we get older, our noses get all out of shape!

Anyway, so my dad scoffed at that idea as well. Because honestly, big deal if you have a bent nose, or have a scar here or there (I hear chicks dig scars! )
