    and reminds me that i forgot to share "our" now no where near as cool ;) story.
    b/c of this thread and that pendant.....i met brokenarrow in philly! :D:D:D

    my good friend tony was kind enough to share his 8th row! :shock: seats for 10.31 with me. for whatever reason we got seperated and i made my way down the seats earlier than he did. as i was sitting there, looking around, i notice the woman sitting next to me - think we exchanged a few words - and then i notice her necklace. i comment on how beautiful it is. then.... :idea:

    i ask, are you brokenarrow on the board? :oops: :? :mrgreen:
    hahaha. the woman looks a bit dumbfounded, kinda like...wtf....how could you know that, and then i mention this thread. 8-) it was AWESOME meeting you - and to think it's all b/c of this thread!

    :lol::D That was my exact reaction too! it must have shown on my face, like, ...'wtf? how did you know it is me? hahah,' especially since I had never posted pics of the Great Wave pendant that I was wearing! :)

    It was so nice meeting you too! Nothing better than having excellent neighbors at a PJ show. That was my third time sitting next to Tony, sat next to him twice last year also...we must have joined Ten Club at around the same time back in '93 or '94....can't remember anymore for myself. 8-) (getting old!)
    and why oh why did those 6ft 2inch+ giants not pass out with the volumes of beer they were drinking so us shorties could have had a better view!!

    What an excellent night, one for the history books!
    (and Bad Religion kicked so much ass that night on top of it all, that was fantastic all in itself!)

    Welcome kazuki.k!! :D
    The only other Hokusai I have done is my interpretation of The Great Wave of Kanagawa, one of my all time favorite woodblock prints. I don't have any decent shots of it, perhaps you've motivated me to take some photos.

    Your English is outstanding, (much better than any attempt I could make at Japanese!)
    I love your country, would love to visit it some day~

    I hope we get to see you more often in The Pit! :)

    thank you guy. No, I've never done any work with regards to the Easter Island heads, that would be interesting though! So sorry you lost your pendant! Was it done in sterling?

    No it was pewter but was a one off and have been looking for similar one for 4 years now at least i can truely say i lost my head at a festi :D:D
