took me quite a while to do.
i started off with just various band member pics and a fan shot .. i wanted to make a background with the whole band, fans, and a symbol for each album.
using fireworks, i cut out a bunch of stuff from their album covers, faded images, etc, etc .. long process .. and this is how it came out. i also used i slight touch of photoshop at the end to give it that painted feel. i think its pretty cool! i'm going to make one for each band member eventually and post each on this thread ..
just though i'd share ..

I would try and save it as a jpg to get the less grainy look that gif files can sometimes cause... gifs are vector graphics and aren't really meant for pictures they are more for solid colors... let me note that this may not help because I'm not too sure what you did in fireworks (I would have done the whole thing in photoshop.)
Also I would try and size it to some more common computer background dimensions such as 1024x768 or better yet 1680x1050... this would prevent it from having to be stretched once placed on the desktop.
I love the design though... Looking at it again, I might back off on the painted filter a bit ( but that might be because it's a gif currently)... this kind of inspired me to go make my own... now I know what I'll be doing at work tomorrow
Great job.
