I can already hear the bitchin though. Like some of the knuckle heads that think Lee Greenwoods "Proud to be an American" should be played instead of the anthem, and if it is they expect me to take off my hat. Hey its a shitkicker de-luxe song thats it...
I went to a T-Birds game a few years ago when Mike did this same thing. Mike McCready is badass.
Have a great time Seattle peeps!
This is my kind of love...
♥♥♥
I'll be there!
I was gonna go anyway- but then I won tickets at FTM- so then I bought more to make up for it.

How did I miss you at FTM? I was right in front of Stone....and everyone else who stood in that spot. And Duff "fell" on my husband and me...we were laughing so hard!
And yay CCFA and Mariners! Yay!
In anticipation and in conjunction with McCready playing the National Anthem on Tuesday, I am helping organize a VIP Pre-Party (benefiting Team Challenge - http://www.ccteamchallenge.org ) at Club Sur (2901 First AVE South). This yet-to-be-opened new venue is just south of Safeco Field and owned by the folks who run Ipanema Grill. For a mere $5* cover there will be FREE PARKING**, great raffle prizes and CHEAP drinks and appetizers, courtesy of Ipanema Grill. It all starts at 4pm and is 21+ - All those and more details can be seen here: http://vipmariners.blogspot.com/
RAFFLE PRIZES INCLUDE: Autographed PJ swag - including a framed/autographed PJ Tour Poster...and more items donated to me by Mike and TenClub.
To purchase VIP tickets in advance, send $5 to vipmariners@gmail.com at http://www.paypal.com. You will be on the guest list.
*tickets are $10 at the door and walk-ups are welcome!
**first come, first served - walking distance to Safeco.
Please forward to your friends and family!
cheers,
chris

If anyone doesn't want this posted for public view, just say the word and I'll take it down.
Excellent! Got home and the husband had recorded it (and the interview) for me. Good job, Mikey!

i think he held back in fear of melting any young ones faces.
i was lucky to hear him do it in west palm and he got a lil' crazier with it
Too bad he played that ugly old guitar.

Again, thanks for putting a face on these conditions Mike and raising so much awareness. You continue to inspire me!
Cheers,
