Buying stuff online...

Holy shit, i get so ridiculously nervous when buying stuff online through paypal/craigslist. I'm always 100% sure that I'm going to get ripped off, haha. I just bought a pair of tickets to game 4 tomorrow night from a guy that seems totally legit; talked to him on the phone, got his address/phone number, has a good rating on paypal, etc. but I cannot shake the nerves. It's so silly.

Let's hope that when I go to the box office tomorrow night to pick up my Flyers tickets they're actually there. :shock:

    I'm always paranoid of that too... And selling on line as well. It's just the worrier in me I guess.

    maybe its because there is a lot of scum out there.


    i havent done craig's list. But I have had over 100 transactions on ebay, and I gotta say, the feedback system works. I have never had a bad experience in all those transactions

    Meh. I work for a web site that does all of it's transactions online (duh). I'm pretty good at spotting the scammers from 50 feet. We still get a lot of fraud, but it's always someone trying to use a fake credit card.

    As far as buying stuff from eBay... I only will buy from someone with LOTS of positive feedback.

    At least with Paypal you can raise a dispute if it all goes tits up

    Oh no you get the best deals that way! I love Zappos..and bamm.com for books. I rarely return stuff but i just did with Zappos and they are WONDERFUL! I feel like buying more right now! hehehe
