How do I get my old username to show up on profile?

How do I get my old username to show up on profile? I tried to update it on edit profile but says that name is already taken eventhough my email and information has never changed. I've always had one account. On old forums, I was Veddrman. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    email the 10c. they've been really good about fixing people's info. also, i think if you go to "edit profile", you can change your name yourself. i seem to recall someone mentioning that no too long ago.

    Yup, they will hook you up. They fixed me almost immediately. :mrgreen:

    I tried edit profile but no luck. I will pm Kat and Sea. Thanks for the help.

    My username is spelled Veddrman. So yes, I agree there is only one Veddrman. There is also one Vedderman23. LOL!

    i changed my name a few weeks ago i used to be pweafer4...im not sure if your still can be if you can it should be in edit profile

    I'm not sure the 10C will be able to help you with that, they did the best they could for my account and got everything fixed except for my name.

    I was Mrs_vedder78 before the merge of accounts (with an underscore) after the merge my account went haywire, my membership info wasn't working, my picture was gone, etc I emailed them and they were able to help with all of that and everything got back to normal but not my username though.

    My old message board while not active it still exists, that’s the one with Mrs_Vedder78 so when I tried changing my name it would tell me it was used already, it was used by me actually on the other account.
    What I had to do was change it a bit, and instead of an underscore use a period, so now I’m Mrs.Vedder78, and then it let me change my picture and stuff.

    Hope that helps, maybe you can add a period or something that would slightly differentiate your username from the old one you had.

    Strange. I take it you are sevrdhand? on the porch main page Thread started under that name . Your last post under that name . But within the thread itself is the initials/numbers.

    Yes, I started the thread with initials and numbers as designated by Ten Club. I then updated my username to Sevrdhand and now my accounts are finally merged thanks to 10 Club. So, I just wanted to drop by and say thank you all for your help. Thanks for the advice. Ten Club is the best! I'm back to my old self as Veddrman. :D
    I just want to say uhmmm, 1, 2, 3...
