I got my Memphis tickets for Eddie!!! Has anyone ever been to the Orpheum? ... Our seats are section LGALL, row B, seats 103-104 ... If I*m looking @ the chart correctly looks like it*s the very back of the theatre on the ground floor ... Good? ... I sure hope it*s one of those venues you can*t have a bad seat in - the capacity is only in the 2000s so I*m thinking it*ll be awesome no matter where I am!!! :D

I'm certainly hoping so, because TicketMaster stuck my ass in the balcony -- the BACK of the balcony.

The crazy thing is, i checked for tickets after ordering mine (at, like 10:02 a.m.) and the next pair of "best available" was in the orchestra. Row X.

    Whatever ... i'm in the building ...

    See y'all in Memphis.

    ;)

The place only seats 2400. I've set in the balcony there for a Ben Harper show in 07....2 rows from the back. Still, AWESOME seats.

I pulled row D seat 5 Lower Gallery for a friend of mine in Ottawa. No problem. :D

Yeah I bought the first ones they gave me. And then checked back and they had better seats so I bought those too.
So anyone who didn't get tickets let me know, I have a pair to sell.

Congrats - I'll be there too! LGALL is the lower gallery. They're not on the ground floor (much higher actually), but like ozark said, there really aren't any "bad" seats in the Orpheum. Check out the link below for a good seating chart. You can also do a virtual tour to see the approximate view from your seats. The Orpheum holds 2300 almost exactly. A great venue indeed!

I saw Natalie merchant there a few years ago, and all the seats are awesome. You will not be disappointed with the seating arrangement.

  • i also got row F in the Mezz. i went back and got two more for the grand tier. i am trying to figure out which will be better seats- can't really tell by the virtual tour on the websit- so if anyone has been there before and has any imput, i would appreciate it. i can then give up the other set to a friend of mine who is anxious to find out where he will be sitting. thanks

Hmm, tough choice. I've been there a bunch of times. If it weren't Row F in the Mezz then I would say take those, but it's not really a great view from the very back of the mezz. The tier is a little more open, but obviously higher up, but not by a whole lot. I think you would probably have a better view of everything from the grand tier.

Thanks for clearing that up for me :D - Ticketmaster*s seating chart was more difficult to deconstruct ... I*m sooo happy to be going but I*m also a little disappointed ... I was on TM @ 10am (refreshing like a mad grrrl) & got tickets pretty quickly, but when I went back just to check & see if there were better seats I was told no seats were available @ 10:02am & then again @ 10:07am so I just thought well @ least I got my tickets ... but after reading all these replies it seems there were MUCH better ones then what I ended up with ... *shrugs* ... @ least I*m going :D

You'll be in good shape there. If your seat number is 1xx or 2xx then you'll be in one of the two center sections. All of the orchestra seats have a great view and it is only about 30 rows deep anyway. You'll be just underneath the grand tier/balcony above.
