For those who just want to see what they pull....
For those that want to just see what they pull from ticketmaster and are not even purchasing, you are possibly stepping on other fans toes. Do you like to c#ck block as well. Let everyone who is truly trying to get tickets, get tickets. When your show is up, then see what you can pull. I'm guessing I will get a couple of I don't give a shit comments, would be expected, but just trying to instill a little etiquette for future reference.
Cheers!
Cheers!

Though I am totally gonna f*ck with the Philly presale, since some of ya f*cked with the Baltimore 1 presale. No ticket pairs after 25 seconds for Baltimore 1? Thanks to those who were testing the waters...

So people actually go on TM and see what tickets they can get and then dont buy them? I didnt know this was a common practice. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Thats crazy. I've done this days after tickets have gone on sale for a show that I was considering going to just to see whats left. But to just see what you can get right when they go on sale is nuts.
world fucking champs!!!
The whole world will be different soon the whole world will be RELIEVED

I don't know what's worse, people who tested the waters with the Baltimore sale, or people who are looking for retribution. It's a sad, sad event either way. Seriously CJMST3K, let it go. Instead of trying for tickets you won't buy just to mess up other people's chances, do something productive. Paint a picture, play guitar, smoke a fat blunt, kiss a girl, whatever. Let's just all be cool to each other
I agree! It is already hard enough to score these tickets...nevermind someone "holding" onto tickets that they have no intention of buying when others are actually trying to purchase them!
BUT
This would have absolutely no effect on people getting tickets. Those tickets are immediately released. And someone else who is just as devoted to the Band gets those tickets.
The only way this could ever hurt your chances would be if you tried to pull tickets for the first three minutes of the sale then called it a day.
You are just as likely to hit those great seats if someone doesn't have them in their cart at that early moment, as you would hitting those seats three minutes later when they are released from said cart.
this post is half-serious.
I never understood the mindset of the person that does that... like it's fucking window shopping or something. I mean, it's different than going to the mall to if you're, 'Just looking'... fighting the TicketMonster scalper fucks and their bullshit cheater programs is tough enough. It's a very simple concept, that even the simplest minds should be able to comprehend... if you are NOT going to buy... don't fucking shop.
Hail, Hail!!!
yeah but say like 1,000 people did this... it would be pretty crazy... one person doing it doesn't matter, but the less people yanking shit just to look at it, the better.
Even if it was 1000 people, all those tickets pulled are going back into the system, three, four, ten minutes later.
So all the people who are looking for tickets that were legitimately shut out cause tickets were in some 'window shoppers' cart, are still going to have access to those tickets, and quickly within the first few minutes of the sale.
There is no harm at all from this. Sure, you might pull a weaker ticket, but someone else is then going to get the stronger ticket, and both of those people are real fans going to THAT show, and your chances of being the fan that pulled the better tickets later are just as good as being the one that pulls the worst tickets first.
I teach Blackjack for a living, and nothing is more entertaining to me than watching people get upset at the "drunk driver" on seat 8.
They think if that guy plays his hand wrong that it is going to affect the outcome of the game, and help the dealer win. That is a crock of shit.
In the end this balances out perfectly with zero influence to the statistics of the game. (and more specifically to what the dealer gets).
This ticket situation is no different.
