I have seen Rodrigo Y Gabriella and they are amazing. I highly recommend it. I am not a guitar player, but even I can appreciate how intensely they play. Good call.

I'll add a nod to Ani DiFranco as well. She's my wife's favorite artist and has entered my top 10 as well. Buy "living in clip" (2-disc live) and her most recent album and enjoy the show.

David Byrne will be hosting a stage of his favourite music on the Friday at Bonnaroo! That should be worth checking out.

-Band of Horses- Not sure if they are your style they are pacific northwest band and sound like a nice indie rock cross of the shins and a little mmy (mostly vocally) They don't rock hard but they rock at a medium pace :) Great songs though. You could check out their song "the funeral" if you wanted to hear their sound

-TV on the Radio- Some film school students from NYU got together in the early 2000's and formed a band. A mix of funk, soul, a little rap, but mostly just pasionate moving music. I'm seeing them for the first time this summer but i've heard they are VERY good live. You could check out their song "starring at the sun" if you want to hear their sound

-The Mars Volta- You either love these guys or hate them but they are magic live. They put on a very intense prog rock latin/jazz infused jam show. If nothing else i think you can say they are unique. As for a song anyone off their first album.

-NEKO CASE- Oh damn i just saw she was on the line up. Wilco fans tend to like neko case or at least all the people i've turned on to wilco have liked neko. Singer songwriter with a voice that is is fucking awesome. Check out any of these songs- "deep red bells", "hold on hold on" or "i'm an animal"

-High on Fire- Do you like some fuckin metal? This is not death metal the vocals are growls but i mostly understand them... a little harder live, but Matt fuckinn Pike SHREDS the guitar and writs some very groovin riffs. I can't believe they are playing here. I guess they are the token metal band kind of like mastodon was last year. Anyway if you want to headbang with some stoner metal heads go check this band out. As for a song Check out "Blessed Black Wings"

hope some of that is helpful

The OP mentioned them as the last band he already knows for sure he is seeing. Except he spelled their name as:
    Wil FUCKIN CO

I have no problem with that though because they FUCKIN rock :D
