This year is my sister's 10th wedding anniversary. As the diligent planner she is, she saved $5k over the 10 years so she and her husband can go to Ireland this summer for their big anniversary. Three weeks ago they found some mold in their den... and now have that room taped off and they now had to have walls knocked down and rebuilt, and insurance is covering most of the cost, except for $5k of it. ...so there goes her ten-year surprise plan for her husband this summer.
I'm hoping this will cheer her up if she wins. She's generally a very upbeat person, but I want to do what I can (or what you can) for her. She's been a big help to me personally (as has my other sister).
