    Damn...

And we are egotistical enough to believe that god made us and only us "special" :)

i prefer feeling small and insignificant rahter than worthless. ;)
seriously...i LOVE stuff like that, and even right here on earth........being at the grand canyon, the grand tetons, etc......definitely feel like 'my small self.' personally i kinda find it comforting. we truly ARE so unquantifiably small/insignificant in the scheme of things. i mean i live in a HUGELY populated area....so pretty 'small' right here....then think on a state, country, continent, global scale.....and then add in the infiniteness of space?! :? yea......there is no vocabularly to properly address just how 'small' each of us is as an individual.....and yet, we ARE so important to ourselvs and our little worlds. i love that.

I'm speechless and awed all at the same time. Especially the pics from the Hubble space telescope from 13 billion light years away. Absolutely amazing.

6 days wasnt it? i thought he had a rest on the 7th? he shouldnt even have had a rest on the 7th... he should have fixed the earths moveable plates so that things like volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc wouldnt kill humans and animals indiscriminately... but thats god for you... too lazy to do a decent fucking shift..
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

He probably left it like it was for job security... As long as there are natural disasters, there are always reasons for people to pray.

Uh yeah, I'm speechless right now...that was sooo damn cool. But I do feel very insignificant now. It just goes to show that the human race hasn't even made a dent in exploring what could truly be out there, granted our technology has improved beyond extraordinary levels in the just the past 150 years...

Just earth. The deities from other planets made their own places to fuck over.

I love all of this stuff... I am fascinated by space and what not. I actually photograph stars(well star trails) in my spare time. I found this video(actually audio) very cool and quite relaxing. check it out.

    thank you for sharing.

People thought folks a few hundred years ago were foolish for thinking the earth was flat.... how foolish are we to think that we are the only place life can happen?
