I told my husband a ukulele would be a cool birthday present. Do you think that's what's in the box?

(Excellent wrapping.)

Obviously you have never played a uke. I play my uke 10 times as much as any of my guitars. It's so damn fun to play.

my ex had one too... and he'd play it everywhere he went, just carry it around the house.... he even played while in the bathroom
It was an $800 Kamaka concert uke. It's made out of Koa wood and was beautiful. If he didn't love it so much I would of asked for it in the divorce. I do miss the sound of him strumming away at it :(

Yep, a ukulele. It's so fun to play - but a bitch to tune. And tune again. And again.

My uke and I hate each other...it's cheap and refuses to stay in tune - and I really don't know how to tune it...Must master it in order to buy a pretty fancy one...Mind you...my hubby doesn't play the Martin guitar I got him for our anniversary a couple of years ago...maybe I should take lessons for that!

Anyway Enkidu - I hope your birthday was or is a happy happy happy one!! Keep on strummin'! :D
