Nice. Going to the smallest. Maybe there will be less idiots yelling at Ed the whole night while he's playing.

Honestly... for such supposed "nice" and " cool" fans I was astonished at how rude people were at every show I went to last year. So many selfish people that wanted to hear themselves. I know we all talked about this a lot and covered this but it still bugs me. Shut up and enjoy. Yes... to all you out there that said "Its a rock concert... I'll scream if I want to." it is a rock concert... but its a little more like campfire songs... not stadium rock... have fun but behave appropriate to the atmosphere. Ed's cool like that... he'll talk to you when its over. Let him run the show.

At DC 1, Ed specifically asked to "Let me do the talking, and the night will go a lot better." (or something close), and there were still numbnuts hollering all night. I doubt he got any usuable footage that night, maybe that's the reason for yet ANOTHER group of solo shows. Who knows?

Anyhow, back to the seating capacity. ;)

with venues that small you can see why the ticket prices have to be so hi (for a pj type event) look in Rolling Stone Feb 19, 2009 issue, the one with Sean Penn on cover, it has an article on Live Nation ticket markups and prices (about the same as Ticketmaster) on the same page as the article about pj's New LP in 2009, see also RS #1003, ed on cover, pages 18-20 article on Summer tour prices, and when evaluating the prices, keep in mind the size of the venue. The latest trend is for ticketing services to hold back the best seats and auction them themselves to cut out scalpers. How much have you ever paid for a ticket from a scalper to any show, how much will you pay one if you didnt get 10C tickets this go around. Ed's tickets are a bargain

i think they should do the charity auctions like they did for some of the california shows. have first second or third row seats up for bids all bones going to charity. gives the people that have cashflow but a moral dilemma buying from scalpers the chance to simultaneously get money seats and give to a good cause, whatever the cause may be.
if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.
