10C Seating for Ev Shows.....How was it last year?

Just curious......Ive got 10C seats for Pearl Jam before and they have been pretty good (would have been better had I not slept my membership fees a few years ago, had to start over) anyway. I was wondering how the 10C seats were for the small Venues EV did last year. I had to scalp DC 1 Last year. Upper Balc but well worth it.

    For the west coast gigs, I beleive they were all in the first 15 or so rows ... and no priority given by seniority.

    But, this all may change. Seems a bit different this time around.

    to give you an idea, i had 10c seating for 4 ev shows, and a 5th show i sat in someone elses extra 10c seat
    LA I - 4th row dead center
    LA II - 10th row orchestra right
    TO I - 7th row orchestra right
    TO II - 3rd row dead center
    CHI II - this was like 23rd row center, really strange in comparison, but not complaining as we drove from buffalo the day of on a whim

    Of 3 shows, the worst I had was row 12, and oddly enough, went up 11, 10 respectively with each show. Anyway, I heard some horror stories though were some guy got row Q (in a venue that started with the double letters), it must have been in the 50s. Isolated incident I think though.

    Mine was row 15. The venues are small, so the seats will be pretty good no matter what!

    Had ~12th row in Santa Cruz and 5th row in Berkeley I. And as others have said, the venues are so small, you there isn't a bad seat in the house. Santa Cruz felt like a high school auditorium.

    For both Toronto shows, I had fairly rough luck. I was in I think the 21st and 22nd rows. Not bad seats in hindsight given the quality of the shows and the venue, but definitely not qualifying as winning any lottery.

    Jeez...I thought I was there furthest back for 10c at massey hall. Still...it's so intimate in there.

    the seats are the BEST in the house. congrats to those who got tickets. you will NOT be disappointed.

    I almost shit my pants when I found out we had second row in Boston last year. It was funny seeing everyones expressions as they were being escorted to the front rows.....and by funny, I mean awesome. thanks again 10c! (now how about getting a little closer than rows NN for Hartford;) )

    I was at the first Vancouver show last year. I unfortunately didn't score 10C tickets, but got a single from a nice fellow board member who got an extra through ticketmaster. I got in line early so I could score a poster, there was this older gentleman who was either from the venue or from Eddie's management that was going up the line and asking people if they had 10C tickets and if they did he would ask to see them. The person in line behind me had 15th row, he took their tickets and handed them row 2 tickets in exchange. I went up to him and asked him if he had anymore closer ones since I was riding solo (hoping that he may have some scattered singles that were closer). He tried to act like he didn't know what I was talking about. It was some sort of a secret I wasn't supposed to know I guess. Did anyone else experience this or someone near you in line?

    For what its worth, my EV seats on the west coast (3 shows) were in from the middle of the house to the back of the house, definitely not within the first 15 or 20 rows. My impression was that the seats were totally random and that the 10C allotment was all over the house. I have a great 10C number, and my thought was that perhaps they did reverse seniority since my seats were in the back for these shows.

    But I can't complain, 10C always treats me well. Plus, no bad seats in these venues. Hopefully I'll end up closer at Baltimore I, but I'm going to try for TM seats too, just in case.

    Do you actually find out your 10c seat assignment before the public on-sale? or not until you show up at the will call?

    nope, you dont know where you sitting until you pick up your tkts.

    I don't believe this was the case because this was about 45 minutes before the doors opened and I remember people still getting their 10C tickets well after the doors opened. I wish I knew what the reason was behind this. I guess just 10C making people's day a little brighter. I know if that had happened to me I would have had to have bought a new pair of pants because I would have soiled myself :D
    Although 10C can be a pain in the ass at times and have never been on the fortunate end of any contest or concert giveaways in my 11 years in 10C, they do a lot of good for it's members...more than most fan clubs, and they should be commended. Who knows maybe I will get lucky sometime and win something down the road. But again, we all can't win all the time. We have to be patient sometimes.
