    oops...sorry. this is what happens when you actually don't keep up with the thread. :oops: sorry AM! any consolation - last year when i missed out on 10c tix for the EV NYC shows, i bought someone's 10c spare right here off the board - easy! so i will wish you luck scoring a spare! :D you'll BE THERE!

    Hahaha... well things are picking up a bit now... once I had a mint hot chocolate drink some luck started coming to me :D we'll see if any of it actually leads to anything but things are looking better so thank you :D

    I wish you all good things.

    My sister once told me, she does not believe in "luck." When she was job hunting a few years ago or tried for a recent promotion, I could not say to her, "good luck!" What a prude, she is worse than I am...

    But we've been lucky lately, with my husband winning the ed lottery. As for me, I closed out a bunch of incomplete projects in a tracking system at work, I was fed up with dual data entry work (I copied my work onto a spreadsheet which was already being maintained for TEN years)....guess what, the tracking system has failed....I still have some work in it, but the majority was saved elsewhere. Now was that lucky or what? I would have been like a turtle on my back with all the work we've been doing lately.

    Also, I got a raise!!!!

    ok, so I just completed a survey for a grocery store that I go to for a chance to win $2,000.00 in groceries. it was listed on the bottom of my receipt...should I send an email to my sister and say, "wish me luck!"

    Luck is real but I think people tend to find more of it if they put the effort into looking for it. :D
