But you have the albums burnt/downloaded so why buy them?

Is what I was asked today by a family member, I said if you are a fan you will buy the albums.
Some people just don't understand, especially those into top 40 radio hits.
I get irritated :x

Plus with how easy it is to get music, you don't pay much attention to it. I remember when I was younger and I got a tape or Cd, a hard copy of course, you knew that thing inside and out.

  • It depends on the album and the band.
If there's a band I've never heard of, and they're playing a festival or show i'm going to, i will download it just to check it out and be familiar with the songs. If they're decent, I'll see them at the show, and maybe buy some merch for support.
There's been bands I've gotten free music from and loved, and I'd rather spend my money on a ticket to a show and a tee shirt than a CD, when I've already got the music. I'm still supporting the band--more so, because a ticket costs way more than a CD.
