This is my song, Goldenbough, recorded this weekend at home. I played the song live on a 12-string through a couple of pedals, and then overdubbed some vocals. It's a good indicator of what the song sounds like in a gig situation. Hope you like it!

    you need to shave.. :D

well done mr fins, well done, indeed 8-)
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    Pretty cool man.

Do you listen to much post/ambient/instrumental rock? If so which bands?
  • I tend to listen to early ambient stuff, really, such as Eno's Music For Airports, although I do quite like Stars of the Lid as well. I'm more of a fan of Indian classical music, jazz or Irish traditional piping though, and I just try to maintain that kind of vibe but through guitar or electronics.

Edit: I love Arvo Part, also. His music is so pure, I think it's influenced every so-called genre over recent years.
