    I saw in the sky
I heard it in the wind
I thought it was the end
I thought it was the 4th of July.

    love that passage.

what from that album is not lovable?
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

Whilst I think that BMF has brilliant songs, SU flows better as an album to me.

Superunkown is simply a masterpiece, I've always thought of it as one of the most critically under-rated albums in history. If the wind was blowing right it could easily have gone down as a universal classic but, as it is, you rarely hear it mentioned in the press / media / industry. I'm trying not to blurt out "I think it could be the greatest album of all time"... but you know what? Sometimes I do think that. From start to finish it's faultless and completely sublime.

    ...is no Badmotorfinger
    32 shows and counting...
  • Superunknown is richer and more musically mature than Badmotorfinger.

I'm not going to get into arguments about it. Yes, it's all about taste; yes, it's possible to like Badmotorfinger better than Superunknown but it's quite obvious the aforementioned statement is the case.
