I hope that I get picked for the Baltimore June 15 Ed show. It will be my brothers birthday, and his last day under contract with the military!!! He is currentlly serving a 6 month term in Afganistan and I feel he deserves to come home to an Ed show, after everything he has had to put up with the last 6 months. Just a little blab thanks for reading. What a great day for the start of his new life!!!

If not then I will have to look into possible ways! Would be willing to unleash some vinyls!
This too shall pass.....

In fairness to everyone who wants tickets, I am sure many people have a story as to why a pair of Baltimore tickets would be special to them. I hope the process truly is random and preference isn't made to people who post their stories on here. I hate to sound cynical, but I sometimes wonder if people post stories like this in the hopes that someone from the 10C will read their thread and keep it in mind.

That said, I do hope that the OP gets his tickets and takes his brother to the show. Sounds like it will be a special night for both of them.

Yes he will be home for the show. He will be driving up from Virginia that same day. It will be the first time we have seen each other since his deployment.

So no "stoploss" or extension of contracted service? That right there is good enough!!!!

Yeah you are correct its going to be a great day no matter what. "stoploss" usually happens to only people in the marines and the army. He is in the navy.

If the people doing the lottery actually read the board and could figure who was who by their posts, there is no way I would have won the lottery last year and got front row for Camden as I was one of the most outspoken people against the lottery idea. Of course, now I'm in favor of it. ;)

They can EASILY figure it out now ... our 10C accounts are linked to our Message Pit accounts :) If the 10C wanted to know who I am after reading any of my posts it would take them all of 5 seconds to figure it out.

yeah... i feel the same way with you here...seems like there is so much of this going around on this board, which is why i prefer some of ther other pj boards...what with all the elistist mentality of a lot of the 10c members too...but do they actually think the band OR 10c management reads this crap?
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

i understand that...but i was agreeing with you on the one point where it seems that some people post these stories for "sympathy" plugs... but on the other hand it does piss me off when people post stuff as if they think the band members read it

I too would be surprised if the band actually reads these boards.

    Hi,

I am hoping to win Memphis tickets...I think the system is pretty fair...Gives pretty much every fan a fair chance to register for tickets...Just hope the ticket selection is random...Would be nice to know how they are going to select who wins?..

I don't think the ticket process will be the same for a pearl jam tour...But, I could see them putting a limit on how many shows you can get with fan club tickets...

Good Luck To Everyone Who Registered For Tickets!!

    Jeremy
