Come on man...that's the best comeback you've got?

Ace Frehley alone has influenced an entire generation of musicians.

Disagree with Fanch all you want, but you can't deny the impact they've had for over 35 years.

  • KISS is touring this summer, did you get your vote in for your city?

ahh KISS. exploiting fans since 1974.

perhaps you're reading this on your KISS computer while sitting in your KISS chair and using your KISS mouse while wearing your KISS underwear and KISS pajamas and drinking coffee from your KISS mug that you place on your KISS coaster and you have to be careful not to spill it on your KISS rug, but if you do you'll use your KISS carpet cleaner.

Don't forget about the Kiss coffin

Yup, more Ed sitting on a stool singing boring Into the Wild, riot act, protest, shitty accoustic songs. I'd be looking at my watch 30 minutes in - and I'm not kidding. Eighty dollars a ticket for that? Negro, please. Pass.

Hopefully, Ed still finds time this summer to make sure that Pearl Jam "9" doesn't sound like riot act. Having BO'B producing makes me pretty hopeful, after all.

This is not a thread to bitch or be negative. It's the absence of negativity - simply not caring. In fact, maybe I should just delete this thread since I don't care.

Who are you and why are you here?? If you are telling me that a Ed solo show isn't worth seeing at least once then you are out of your mind. Chicago night 1 you will never know. I respect your opinion but come on man, you are in the wrong place.

Well I'm not interested in Ed's solo shows either but I'm sure there's merit to them. I've always liked my Eddie Vedder to be yelling and screaming as opposed to softly singing...so that's why the shows aren't for me. But I doubt they're "boring" or "shitty"

Well I don't know what "thilly" is supposed to mean but I also think that Pearl Jam poster collecting is lame

3 different tours promoting the same album, it's gotta be a record.

Not really sure you can call this a tour to promote the album. All that is done.

Yeah, fall of 85 if I recall. Funniest thing was seeing 10-12 yr olds who bought W.A.S.P. shirts that said "I F*** like a Beast" on them. Figured they should concentrate on growing pubes first.

My philosophy was to order the tickets. If I get them, great, I'll enjoy an "intimate" show with Eddie and a couple thousand fans. If not, I saved $168.00. With the way the economy is, I probably shouldn't be paying for these tickets right now...

    ha!
didn't you see him up in boston last time around?
    :P

i really enjoyed ed solo in NYC last year, but i also went solo. this time around hubby gets to join me, and we also just happen to be on vacation...so good *excuse* for a little 3-day trip down to baltimore. we are only going IF i score 10c tix, otherwise....not meant to be. i too agree ed solo is well worth seeing ONCE.....but for the reasons listed, twice would be nice too.

personally, i just think it's cool he's hitting new places, so more get to have the ed experience.

Yes, and actually enjoyed the Boston show a little more. But as you stated, it is worth seeing once or twice and now I don't have interest in traveling to see this show..but hell if he played a subway ride away, of course I'd get drunk and make it an evening ;) ..

Anyway, good luck and enjoy the show(s)..
