Just hours after pitching six shutout innings in his MLB debut for the Angels, Nick Adenhart was involved in an accident and died from his injuries early this morning. He was 22. :cry:

Once I get out of this town

    This is hitting anaheim pretty hard...they've been excited about him around here for a while. Sad news. Looks like they'll be adding another patch to those jersey's this year. :cry:

    And yes, this wasn't his MLB Debut...just his first start of the season. He was called up and pitched a few games last season.
