Question for the fans

Alright I hear a lot of bickering about the new ticket policy. What was wrong with the policy they had last year for the band? I know this is only for the Ed show, but I hope they do not change it for a PJ show. Yeah there are people that are younger and have higher numbers. That is just life should I go and complain about not seeing the Stones or Zepplin, sInce I was not born when they came out? I am just saying I think the policy of the first two rows and rows 9 and 10 were a lottery and the rest senority was a great idea. Please keep it that way.

And I really can't believe how many of you think that they would do this for a 25,000+ seat venue entire tour?!!

Relax. This is just for Ed, and just for tiny theaters.

Venting is fine, but there are, like, at least a dozen other threads where it could have been done.
Truthfully, I think I just need to accept it now that this board will be turning into the typical clusterfuck that happens with each tour. I just wish people would use the new and improved search function (it completely kicks the ass of the old board's search) and try to avoid too many repetitive threads.

I really don't think that's a valid comparison. Pearl Jam is a band still actively touring, and, as is, only senior members get the best tickets. You can't compare that to a band that ISN"T still touring. Obviously I can't go see Led Zeppelin period, but I CAN go see Pearl Jam. But I can NOT get the best seats, since they go only to the most senior members of the fan club.

The stones don't tour anymore? Last I looked they still play shows. All I am saying is that me as well as numerous fans have supported this band and paid their dues. Why should we be punished for being good fans and keeping up our membership. I just think the policy for last year should stay. 1&2 9&10 lottery. then the rest senority.

And who the hell is saying that WON'T be the policy for the next tour?
I still cannot grasp how everyone can't seem to separate Ed and his tour from PJ and their tour. Different situations, different needs, different policies. Why is that so hard to follow????
