Hi,
I am a HUGE Mike McCready fan, he is my favorite guitarist by far.
Unfortunately, the upcoming Flight To Mars show is 21+. As were there shows last year. Really dissapointing :cry:

OK, If you are going and your one of those who like to chill out with Mike, PLEASE, ask him to play an all ages show sometime for me
It would make me SO happy! It sucks being a fan and being a kid.
Even if you ask and he says no thanks for asking anyways it means soo much to me I've been a fan of him and Pearl Jam for years.

Thanks

Back on the thread, must fucking suck man. I kinda know what you mean, being shunted out of UK meet ups becuase i wasn't 18 and allowed to enter the bar. Going to be 19 in 3 weeks but bloody hell, still got 2 years if i was in USA. Don't get why the gig is 21+ but oh well.

I feel your pain kidd! As an 18 year old, it sucks!!

Having said that, the no responsibility thing kinda rocks...

Well the drinking age is 21 here so many clubs make their gigs 21+ so they dont have to deal with underage drinking, clubs have special nights and some shows that are all ages but I guess its up to their discretion..

Has Shadow '86 ever played an underage show? Do I have to wait 5 more years?

Im seriously considering buying a fake I.D
only problem with that is some people say I look kinda young

i hear that! i remember when i went to the msg shows last year and i wanted to hang out with my older friends that i just met during the preparty. of course they were all over 21 and i was 19. when i gave my ID to the bouncer, he just laughed at me... then he told his buddy and he laughed too... suffice it to say it was the most humiliating experience of my life  ;)

    awh. mean bouncers.
Anyone have advice on sneaking in or faking an ID? Im not sure if I'd actually do it but I might resort to it seeing as he never plays all ages.

Interesting.. we should have hung out!

I tried to go the MSG 1 aftershow party and everyone was so high from the show but yeah the stupid bouncer asked for I.D :( So i just had to go back to my hostel and look at my photos on my camera :(

Though i went to all the last 5 wishlist foundation pre shows and it seemed okay, maybe they are just fussy at night as all the preshows were in bar/pub type places.
