I don't think i can make any of these EV shows. This band and EV just costing me too much lately to rationally justify doing so. Just gotta hold out for PJ Tour in the fall.

    :) No matter how much I would love to see Ed solo, I just don't have that kind of money right now - not if I wish to see PJ when they start touring!!! (EUROPE!!) 8-)

    Me too.

    I was honestly relieved there wasn't a show close to where I live. Money is tight, but it would be so hard to turn down Ed tickets.

    You have to approach things Pearl Jammy rationally at times. You have had your full in the past year or so, relax until the next full fledge PJ tour.

    It's ok. Good for you for taking a firm grip on rationality. :)

    same here, i saw ed once last summer, it was fantastic, but, i too, am waiting for the whole band!

    its not really willpower....

    its just the realization that i was taking this band and these tours WAY TOO FUCKING SERIOUS!!!!!!

    i hit TOO MANY shows in 03-04-05-06....WAY TOO MANY!!!!

    to the point where i wasnt even enjoying myself .......


    fuck it....
    im going to go camping this summer...and fishing....and swimming....

    and if i make it to a pearl jam show this fall???? GREAT!!!!

    if not....LIFE GOES ON!!!!!

    I think I'll see if I get the tickets with 10C. If I don't, I won't try ticketmaster.
    Thing is, I'll be in Europe for one or two years beginning in June, so this may be my last chance for a while.

    i look at it like this....ten years from now when im reflecting on my past, do i want to look back and say hey cool in 2009 i saved lots of money by not doing shit and was able to pay off my credit card in however long, or do i want to say yeah it cost me an arm and a leg and it took forever to pay off, but fuck it was awesome.
    however i have no kids which if i did, this would be entirely different/
    if you think what I believe is stupid, bizarre, ridiculous or outrageous.....it's ok, I think I had a brain tumor when I wrote that.

    this is my plan. if we're lucky with 10c tix, it's meant to be and a fun little 3 day trip for us. if not, will await the pj shows in the fall! :D i've seen ed solo last summer, hubby never has.....we already have the vacation time planned, so it just seems like kismet.

    I really cant' afford this right now either. But there is no way I can not go see Vedder in Albany at least once when he is only playing an hour away from me. I just have to find a way to make it all work.

    you will enjoy it that much more....
    realizing that all it is.....is a 2-3 hour rock concert.....THATS ALL!!!!!

    Yep...I had no regrets missing shows in my area (NJ,NJ,PA) I looked at the setlist the next morning..and on I went with life...I will try to go to the Albany show and or the philly show and if score tickets great...if not oh well...wont be on here cryin about it...
