    I'm from the East coast and even I think it sucks. i can't go to any of these shows cause I have a family and can't just road trip to shows anymore. But the closest to the west he's coming is Hawaii? Man, the west is getting the shit end of the stick. They better have like 10 PJ shows in the west on the next tour to make up for it.

    I was hoping for either a show somewhere in Washington State or British Columbia . . . I would've been able to travel that far. Looks like the closest shows are in Hawaii . . . no chance in hell of making it that far :(

    No, I remember hearing about them. I know Ed can't be everywhere and it's probably not even him who decides where he plays. But maybe a handful of shows on the east, couple in the midwest, then to the west for like 6 shows, then Hawaii. I know alot of people get left out either way but it does seem odd that a singer from Seattle/San Diego doesn't at least stop by the West coast for a few shows. Just my 2 cents.

    PJ and/or EV have not played a 'proper' show in Seattle since the Key in Dec 2002 (unless you count Benaroya in Oct 03 as 'proper').....why would you be surprised? Sure there have been some 'surprise' small shows here and there....but no full PJ show....and EV didn't stop here for ITTW.

    Seattle to the Gorge is 180 miles....

    Even those 2002 Key shows were benefit shows with no 10C seating privileges...

    Technically, they have not played Seattle "proper" since the Key Arena shows in November 2000. There has been the key benfit shows in 02, Benaroya in 03 and the Showbox in 04(?). I am sure there will be Seattle proper on the next tour, personally I would rather drive to the gorge, it is better than any venue in Seattle anyways.

    I must admit I was sure that there would be a Seattle show here for sure, maybe after Honolulu?

    He'll end up playing to a crowd of ten people at a rec center in west seattle that will be advertised on a ciphered index card, posted on a billboard in a Georgetown coffee house. It'll be great :|
