Good luck new super message board... I believe today is going to be your first real test.

I would also like to wish luck to the store this weekend... when/if tickets go on sale.

    I'll second that. I was mighty disappointed when I couldn't get tickets for the Vic show. Why is "keep refreshing" still considered an option these days. Not complaining, but wouldn't it be better for the business if they could meet demand?

    Not entirely their fault though with the vic show.... they have a set amount of bandwidth. we just happened to kick the crap out of that bandwidth limit that day.

    We're gonna get the hour of site crashing and then the 'temporarily unavailable' icon once we finally get in...doesn't always feel like such a great benefit...tried for an hour and a half for LA Wiltern EV solo tix and had no luck, despite entering my CC four times and being charged four times...charges were EVENTUALLY removed, but I never got ANY tickets...hmmmmmmm fun. :cry:

    It's already timing out and slow today; it'll definitely be crashing when tickets go on sale. Hopefully they will continue to stagger the sales like last year. That seemed to improve things marginally. But yeah, I suspect it's going to crash.

    yup. that's what i think as well. it's taking forever to load right now. there has to be a better way to make announcements/sell tix.

    Oh, its going to crash no doubt about it.

    For me right now it has been going reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy slow, and having issues loading all the background colors.

    Everybody, change your board display settings in the user profile.

    Take off pictures, sigs, avatars, and have it set to display only 1 day of new posts. You will have less info trying to reach you, hence it will be faster for you.

    I just did, and it hasn't had any problems yet, and if EVERYONE did that, well then, the board should be just like normal.....well speed wise.
