    I'll either be there or Fitzrays on the other corner, I'll jeep an eye out for you - I have blondish straight hair and will probably be wearing my glasses too lol

    Hey, Fitzrays I have never been maybe will check it out. Everest is opening LA band..I have heard a couple of songs on FM96 of their's... Cinnamon Girl isn't coming WTF?

    Can't wait it's been a long, long, time since I saw Uncle Neil. My sister saw Uncle Neil back in Dec. at the ACC she said it was the best $300.00 she has ever spent. :mrgreen:

    Fitzrays is a pretty nice place - way less skeevy and meat market than Rob Hall. Everest aren't bad, I forget what time Neil comes on at though.

    That's great you are seeing him again - I'm a recent convert, someone on this board actually started my Neil education during the EV TO shows last year so I went to see him in Dec and was blown away. No way I could pass up seeing him again here. FM96 has been playing Johnny Magic the last few days which has been pretty cool, it's amazing live though!! I can't wait :toetap:

    you'd be surprised at what rob hall can attract on any night :shudder: lol ;)

    I can't believe it either - I thought I was so lucky he played TO in dec!!. What time are you going to head over the road to the show? The people I'm now being made to go with want to have dinner in the north end first but I have to meet a guy who is going to be hanging out with us and I don't really know him. Would like to have a chance to grab a drink with him first but not sure on how late to leave going in. We have floor and I'm not bothered where we get on the floor. Ack, demanding people suck!

    I have to add...the best time I had at Rob Hall was before/after the PJ show back in 05....good times. Cinnamon girl I concur kids keep you grounded.

    As for the show - was a wee bit disappointed actually - I myself liked it but only because I saw the ACC show which was a much better, livelier and more interactive show so I didn't mind seeing some of those songs played out like he did last night.

    It seemed to be little bit self indulgent and really half the time the crowd need not have been there. The shows were night and day, Definitely lacked energy, although the stamina was there for sure.

    I thought of you when he played CG - one of the guys I was with asked what I was looking around for and I realized I WAS actually looking around - like I would see you or something lol!! I just laughed rather than get into the whole "well there's this message board see, and there is this poster named...." thing :D

    It was GREAT meeting you Ariel...however I must say I was BLOWN AWAY last night. There were a lot of sit in seat and never get up people as usual. We spoke to a few folks after last night there were also like yourself feeling a little dissappointed. I loved that he was really changing it up as he went along last night, he was flying by the "seat of his pants" I think all the guitar changes and starting one song and changing it to another. Favs were Are You Ready For The Country, Pocahontas, Everbody Knows This Is Nowhere, the standards The Needle, CG, etc. LOVED the new stuff so glad a picked you Fork in the Road. Get Behind the Wheel, Light A Candle, and I believe the also played "A Song Can't Change the World" which was missed above. LOVED the loads of jamming Neil is the man!!!!!What can I say had a blast didn't want it to end! :mrgreen:
