Finding Friends and Profiles on This Forum?

Anyone have a clue? I tried to display the member list, and it tells me I'm not permitted to do so, yet it also confirms I'm actually in the list.
I'm referring to the "Usergroups" section of the User Control Panel.
Has anyone tried going through any of that?
I can't seem to find any other way to find friends on here unless they've PM'ed me or have posted somewhere and I have actually seen the post.

It won't let me view the groups even though it says I'm in them.
Also it's annoying that we can't view profiles by clicking on someones name, you actually have to figure out their link.
Hopefully 10c will change this.
