PJ Tribute NO CODE's 100th show – Fri, 4/17, Hoboken, NJ
Much More Than This
Brooklyn, NY Posts: 765
Greetings, fellow Jammers.
This celebration of Pearl Jam's music we call NO CODE has enabled us to rock out with the hardcore Jammers of Garwood and New Brunswick ... Belmar and Atlantic City ... Manhattan and Westchester ... Philadelphia and Scranton ... and various points in between. Soon we'll be spotting stickman tattoos in the Baltimore and Boston precincts of Pearl Jam Nation, as our modest travel itinerary is about to expand.
Yet wherever the wave has taken this humble bunch of fakers, Hoboken remains the place where the fondest of memories have been created. So it's only fitting that Sin(atra) City would play host to the 100th performance of NO CODE on Friday, April 17. We invite you and others to join us for a special celebration at Whiskey Bar.
The excitement has been building so much that a few weeks ago during Show #99, NO CODE lead axeman Rob and a patron of Northeastern PA's River Street Jazz Cafe commenced with the festivities a bit early. Since it's not evident in this YouTube video, let us clarify that the "toast" shared between Rob and the gentleman situated outside camera range did not involve champagne, but rather the locally brewed Lionshead Beer (tribute bands by definition must limit themselves to the more economical beverage). For the 100th show, however, we strongly urge Whiskey attendees use their libations more wisely.
Here’s everything you need to know to get to the show:

The show can be heard every Sunday night at 9:00 PM on New York’s newest rock station, 101.9 RXP, and streamed worldwide at www.1019RXP.com.
Anything, Anything derives its title from Dramarama's song of the same name. The format covers all genres of rock, with every song and topic hand-picked by on-air personality and rock encyclopedia Rich Russo. Anything, Anything aims to go deep on artists you know, introduce you to some you might have missed and help you find great new things. For more information, listen to 101.9 RXP on your radio or computer and catch the show every Sunday at 9:00 PM.

Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow
Great to hear from you, dream. The name change of the new board precludes me from continuing to refer to you as the High Priestess of the Pit. So try this on for size: the Queen Consort of the Community. Hmm?
I'll try to make it to the NY show.

all these coverbands are kinda lame = negative
So, to borrow a lyric (because that's what we lame bands do), what's it gonna be, "kidd"?

With apologies to Martin Scorsese and Joe Pesci, my tendency toward artistic borrowing is hard to break. In all seriousness, THANK YOU, Kyle. One thing I do know is that you couldn't have been referring to my aptitude with respect to Pearl Jam trivia, as evidenced on live New York radio. Now that Seth's a member of the band, I willfully defer all inquiries to him. - Tony
