How did you like the whole "bracelet thing" this last tour? I thought it was an awesome idea and sitting in line after the show for 15 minutes or so was a hell of a lot better than haveing to keep looking after your poster all night and worrying about spilling beer on it or getting a seed hole in it (or someone crushing or stealing it!)
I hope they do this for all the shows from now on!!
what do you think?

I thought the world...Turns out the world thought me
aside from the ppl at ga shows who went to get a poster then still felt like they should get their "saved" spot front row...

you bet!
i would LOVE that system!
of course, especially now with 10c tix shut-outs sadly becoming more and more the norm.....it certainly can't be the ONLY way. so the bracelet system is fantastic. quite honestly, ALL the changes 10c has made in regards to posters, 10c tix, ALL good! i thought that 10c really listened and made changes for the better to benefit us all.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow

Im with you. But then if you think Ebay is flooded with flippers now. God, imagine if they made thousands of prints for one show?

It would be double the fun if you are allowed to pre-order with your tickets and not know what the design is going to be. The artist could reserve his better prints for the smaller runs and really reward the people who blindly pre-order!
although i usually skip the poster and just tailgate longer at other shows
ebay would not be flooded if there were thousands of prints... because most flippers know that the resale value wouldn't be the same
but if the print sucked then the artist/10c would have quite an inventory of leftovers
At the end, the line moved very smoothly.
A+
Could not agree with you more. Worked great.
ordering the poster with the tkt would be so awesome!
But I agree that the new system is definitely great!
that '08 MSG experience (both nights) was something else! and yes, for the record it was the "Ninersfan" posse that was trying to hustle/cheat a bunch of MSG posters from the merch stands,...

sounds like that MSG 03 experience.. though that year that ones buying all the posters were the actual MSG employees :S

My first thought was that they wanted it looser so they could take it off, and go to a different merch booth and buy another print.
But then when I got my bracelet put on, it was kinda of tight.
So am I just crazy thinking that I saw flippers? Or was it that they were fans that had been to different shows an realized how tight they are put on?

+1...this became an issue for me on the Eddie solo tour (if you sit near me and spill beer on me, be prepared to face the consequences)...and yes, bracelet worked great in Hartford.

Yeah, I hate having to go in earlier too. I like to tailgate longer as well. The missing out on a poster thing makes me so anxious - it's always kind of a buzzkill for anyone with me. When I didn't get a poster at one show though, I really was heartbroken (my coolest friend ever bought it for my birthday off ebay from a flipper for way too much money - but man i love her for it). I know I'm a freak. I'm not even a huge collector - I just want one from every show I've been too.
The bracelet thing was pretty crazy at MSG08 AFTER the show, but it was so cool to be able to go and get the bracelet, and then head out to the bar for an hour or so. Hartford was smooth; or so I hear, because my husband did all the dirty work (ie. going in early and picking it up) for me. Man, how did I get so lucky

i don't mind going in early either and missing some tailgating to get a poster. there's more perks to getting in early than just a poster! it seems to me like PJ tries hard to get solid opening acts, so if i wasn't getting in there early, i may have missed bands like Kings of Leon, Supergrass, Sonic Youth, MMJ, etc.
