When does everyone think that 10 c will anounce this? I think that he would also play Tower if he is playing Baltimore. Hopefully we find out soon. Do most of us also agree PJ plays the Spectrum this fall. I heard a rumor that possibley 3 nights there. This summer/fall should be alot of fun!
This too shall pass.....

    If it is like last year and the tour is going to be based around ACL, I would not think we will hear any PJ news until after ACL is announced which I think is the end of April.

    That date has been mentioned a bunch of times. But there has also been more than one post saying that the announcement won't be ready by then, so it could come as late as May. I don't know what to believe.

    I have read the 15th and the 28th on different boards. So I would think the PJ news to come soon after one of those.

    Yeah, I thought April 15th sounded a little early. Either way, we won't hear about a tour for another couple of weeks after ACL announces PJ (if that happens)

    Makes sense, most big bands like PJ usually announce tours roughly 3 months before the start of the tour, although like people are saying there could be other factors involved like when ACL officially announces their line up ete etc
    {if (work != 0) {
    work = work + 1;
    sleep = sleep - work * 10;}
    else if (work >= 0) {
    reality.equals(false);
    work = work +1;
    }system("pause");
    return 0;}

    As far as I know, the Tower is a done deal.
    Spectrum is a definite possibility as well. I hadn't heard 3 shows there, but I sure as heck wouldn't complain!!

    How do you know Eddie is even doing a solo tour again? That ticketmonster Baltimore show was only on there for a day, then gone?

    Is The Tower that big? Wait, is that for Vedder's solo show?

    Heh, sorry East coasters but this West Coaster is going to be competing for the tickets if this whole deal for Baltimore and Tower comes true :D

    Trust me, I will be trying for the shows in my back yard, but I am going to go out on a limb here and guess if there Vedder shows, there are going to be more cities than Baltimore and Philly. I'm going to wait and see what cities are being played first.

    Yeah, for now, they are making it sound like there are not whole lot of solo gigs. If there are some scheduled for the West Coast, then I guess I would leave the East Coast dates alone. Not for the PJ tour though. For those, all country is a fair game. And if they announce some European festival dates, those might be a possibility as well :D

    there's no Euro festival this year (and so likely no Europe) as pretty much all festivals (all the big ones anyway) have now announced so we'd already know.

    Ed in Europe on the other hand... after all, he's already toured the East Coast damn it! :cry:

    Me too, I am hoping if there are some cool cities for Ed solo, Memphis, Atlanta, New Orleans, I might try and go there.

    Baltimore posting on TM (two nights) , coupled with Jack Johnson auctioning off 2 tickets to an Ed Hawaii show has led many (me included) to believe something is up...I am guessing he hits some cities he missed on the last two legs. Maybe 6-8 cities. Just a guess. I think we'll hear in the next few days.

    It holds about 3500.
    And I'm definitely not looking forward to the competition. I realize there will be plenty from within this region, but I selfishly wish those of you outside of the Northeast would let us fight for those few seats amongst ourselves. For larger-venued PJ shows, I don't have a problem with it. But tiny theater shows with just Ed? Should be hometown advantage for sure.

    I understand this sentiment. However, PJ is now a travel to band. Every show is a hot ticket; some more than others. Now with smaller tours, the tickets are hot and people will travel and go to multiple shows. For the Ed solo tour I think people should only go to 1 or 2 show, but it's a free country.

    And that's the thing. I totally remember last year's Ed tour, and how so many people were disappointed that each setlist was so similar. So why travel for that, you know? At least, why travel if you've already seen him solo, or have a show near you during the same tour?

    I agree; I will only go to one if he comes. But others just think they need to see each show, but I go to various PJ shows for the different setlists.

    It's in Upper Darby, which is really just West Philly. Market St all the way down to 69th.
    It's a less-than-desirable part of town, but not too terrible if you know where you're going. Also, when Septa is actually running properly and not shutting down stations on the weekends, there's a very convenient "El" stop right at the venue. Like, 200 feet away. Unfortunately, Septa sucks balls, and the last few times we've gone to shows there, they were doing some sort of repairs to the various stops and it was a clusterf*ck.
