Sad I didn't get to see AIC with you fronting.
It's one thing to like Alice more than Nirvana, or to prefer Layne's voice over Kurt's, but it's not even close whose death was a "bigger loss", as far as popular music is concerned.
Kurt also died on April 5th. Rest in peace to 'em both.
Anyways, his addiction helped form his gripping and intense lyrics, and unfortunately shortened his life. Playing the albums dirt and jar of flies still overwhelms me with that bands passion, and Laynes vocals are 2nd to none. I sincerely cried when I heard the news of his death. Peace my brother, you are sorely missed!!!!!!

And worse, it happening on his birthday back in 94 & 02 :(
there is no "lesser" loss of the two to the people who loved them..let's respect them both by not bickering about bullshit..thank you.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lucky lucky lucky.
I bring out all the cds + dvds every april 5th :P
15 years since Cobains death WOW! Bless them both.
"You my friend
I will defend
And if we change, well i
Love you anyway"
I used those lyrics for senior high school year book. Except I made the word friend plural.

Do you seriously have access to that show? It was insane. While in the middle of their set, AIC stopped playing and asked for any "long-haired" volunteers to come on stage and have their head shaved. Never forget that show ever! Only $13 to get in that night! Please hook me up if you can!
RIP, Gods of Grunge
I dont see no image, just post the link not with any image tags - that way you can't mess it up.
Its already been posted on April 5, 2009. We talked about it already and you were going to see if you could find a boot from the show for me.
Oh yeah my bad, i thought i may have seen it, i couldn't remember!
Still can't find the show :(
He didn't. Conveniently for grunge fans, though, he died damn close. I remember reading when he died, he had been dead for over a week, but not more than 2. I'd always like AIC, but something really clicked with me after he died.
Out of curiosity, anybody see him or pics in the couple years leading up to his death?
Also, in his last interview he said the AIC guys weren't his friends.
