Do you think the upcoming news could be pushed up release?

Pushed up release of the new album?

Do they normally tour before an album drops? We have heard Fall for the new album is likely, but would they really tour all summer without a new album out, on a full scale tour?

    hm i doubt theyd tour without the new album being out.
    Does anyone know how close they are to finishing it?

    Well...in '06 they started the tour about 1 week before the album came out. :mrgreen:

    that doesnt include the few warm-up shows. but those are not really part of the tour.

    Vedder also revealed that Pearl Jam is halfway through making its ninth studio album. "It's taken two weeks to get halfway there and that's writing it from the bottom up, so we'll see how long it takes to finish it," the singer says. "We will be playing shows. One of us is having a baby next year, so there'll be no touring then, so we have to get it done this year."

    sweet! thanks! this gives me hope.
    Tho two weeks isnt very long hopefully that says nothing about the quality.
