Anyone else in the Philly area catch Ray's show at the Tower tonight?

It was my first time seeing him live and I've gotta say, I was blown away. His voice is pretty amazing live. Great show.

I came into the "Other Music" forum to start the same thread!
He was incredible. My husband and I really enjoyed the show. And I always love the Tower, despite the ick of getting there.
    Where were your seats?
We were in Center Loge, 5th row.

I went alone so I was lucky enough to score a seat in the left orchestra, row QQ.

It seriously was an amazing show. Glad someone else from the Pit got to see it :)
  • i was there last night too. what an awesome show. i thought it was hilarious when everyone got up and people were dancing for three more days.

do you guys know what happened with the fight that broke out about 3-4 songs into the set?

Yeah what the hell was that? Who gets into a fight at a Ray LaMontagne show?? haha

I don't know what happened, it was like 10 rows behind me, but it looked pretty intense.

Where were you sitting? I read this somewhere else (Facebook page for Ray), and had no idea.
Also, can anyone tell me how many songs past "Trouble" the show actually lasted? We took off like an old couple, to beat the traffic home! :)

We were 5th row, center, of the Loge. So it probably happened right below us. My husband, when I mentioned this fight to him, pointed out a round of cheers that occurred a few songs into the set that had confused him. So now we know why that happened!
And thank you, that does relieve me to know we didn't miss too much.

I am SOOOO looking forward to seeing Ed there in 2 months!
