To Those Who Aren't Receiving 10C E-mails...

Based on the feedback I'm reading, it seems quite a few people haven't received the most recent e-mail from the 10c. While it's entirely possible that they're experiencing some weirdness on their end of things with all of the recent changes, I just thought I'd put this info out there as a PSA, to help those of you who typically do receive the e-mails and recently stopped, or who used to, but haven't in a long while.
I wrote to 10c last year because I stopped getting e-mails from them pretty abruptly. Once we verified that I had the correct e-mail address listed, they suggested I check my Spam Filter settings. Now, this doesn't mean just checking your Junk mail folder. Within free, web-based e-mail, there are specific settings that you can adjust to allow or block very specific domains from sending you mail. In my case, through Yahoo, I never told them to block 10c e-mails. They just took it upon themselves to do it for me! So nice of Yahoo, no?![;) ;)](https://community.pearljam.com/plugins/emojiextender/emoji/yahoo/wink.gif)
This is what to do to make sure you don't have the 10c e-mails being filtered out.
In Yahoo:
>Options (top right of the page when using the "New" Mail setup)
>Mail Options
>Spam
>Go through the list you see VERY thoroughly to make sure that no form of Pearl Jam mail is on there. Look for things like "donotreply@", "info@", and "pearljam@", etc. It may be a very long list for some of you, but be patient. If you find one, simply highlight and click "remove."
>Click on "Save Changes"
In Hotmail:
>Options (top right)
>More Options
>Safe and blocked senders
>Blocked senders
>Same deal as with Yahoo. Thoroughly check this list to make sure there's nothing at all PJ-related, and if there is, remove it from the list.
>In Hotmail, you can also go into Safe Senders and ADD 10c addresses to make double sure you'll get them. Some to add would be: donotreply@lists.pearljam.com, donotreply@tenclub.net, etc.
I hope this is helpful to at least some of you.
And if anyone else can offer the same steps using other e-mail servers (i.e., gmail, msn, etc.) feel free to post. I will update this as necessary.

Checking your spam folder is not always enough, which is why I spelled out exactly what you need to do to make sure 10c emails aren't be blocked.
Thanks for posting the info. I'm sure it'll help someone that's not getting it because of those reasons.
In my case it's on their end not mine, the addresses are and have always been on the safe sender, save mailing lists and address book. I suspect things got out of order with the merge and I'm sure they'll realize that something didn't work right with that email last night.
And like I mentioned previously, it does seem likely that this time around it is a problem on the 10c end.
But as long as everyone has their settings here on the website to get the emails, and you've made sure your email server is all set up right, then don't worry about it for now. The news is obviously easily obtained, and I'm sure everything will be sorted out by the time real news starts being circulated.

It's amazing how I can log into this message board using my EMAIL ADDRESS, but they can't manage to get me emails. It is NOT a problem on my end, or probably 99% of the other people who aren't getting them.
New Mexico Pearl Jam Fans (New Mexico, USA) on Facebook!
But you're positive you've gone through the whole list of blocked emails in your Yahoo account? Because I had to go through it with a fine-toothed comb to find the @pearjam one and un-block it. It sounds like this happened to us around the same time last year.
the irony of course is that i didn't get this particular email and my name is IN the message
I know Barb!! I was like WTF ? when I saw your post on the other thread... I would forward it to you but I didnt get the email either LOL!
You should print it, it's not everyday your name is on a 10C email

Yes. All this talk about the mysterious missing email... I didn't get it either. Of course, I don't know what's in it. Must not be anything *that* important, but would still be nice to know.
But what they were open and honest about is the fact that they are DATA MINING based on crap they see in your PERSONAL E-MAILS! That doesn't creep you out?
I started a new school this semester, and they use Gmail as their server for school email. I had to sign in to it to get some important info, and within an hour my computer was f'ed up. And I assure you, it was not a coincidence. After that, I made sure to set up Outlook to send and receive, instead of doing it web-based. Haven't had a problem since, but I sure as hell wouldn't use it for my personal e-mails.
But that's just me.
I use gmail to.
How do we check spam or safe senders list?
I haven't received the email either.
The last one it took a day before I got it, but I did eventually (though considering how little advance notice they give us when it comes to tickets, a day is too long!)
Thankfully I have enough (understatement) PJ friends on Facebook to hear quickly about it, but there are times when the only thing I have time to check are my emails.
I checked my Hotmail settings like you said and everything checks out. Weird...
Edit: So, here's some irony for you. I went to set up my email with my ISP, and it's THROUGH G-MAIL! LMAO!
