Chances for 10C Tickets

Can you guys give me an idea of just what the chances are of getting 10C tickets? I'm not worried about row or seating, just actually getting the 10C tickets. I want to have realistic expectations come tour time...I'm in California, if that makes a difference.

Thanks!!

it's kind of like trying to get laid in college- sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's more of a challenge

Just need to have a good to decent computer and connection.

Then get ready to strike like a cobra when the clock ticks down. Practice refreshing, and moving the mouse around, and have your credit card out and available next to you.

The simple things will give you a fighting chance. And if you are able to try for multiple shows then hopefully you can score at least 1 through the 10 Club.

If you miss out, then it's wash, rinse, repeat with TicketBastard.

    And Lastly.

There are ALWAYS tons of tickets floating around, especially on here, with people who have an extra. It has never failed me. Just have to stick around on the Pit and tickets become available for face value. That is when you find the real meaning of this great community.

    Make your own luck.

all depends on the amount of buzz for the venue / location / specific show........most shows will be okay to get.

Tampa last year was up for days....other shows people got locked out of (MSG, Boston). Just make sure you are prepared when it comes time to buy and you should have a good rate of success.

Since I wasn't on the board the last time they went on tour, how does the "I have an extra ticket" thing work? Does one person start a thread and all available tickets are posted on there, or are there just a bunch of threads that say extra ticket for..., or is it more of a back alley thing where you hafta know a guy who knows a guy?
    2006- Boston I
    2008- Boston I+II
    2009- Toronto, Philly III+IV
    2010- Bristow, Hartford, Boston, Newark

you'd think- but on here there will be 1,548 threads about people that want a ticket, trying to sell a ticket, or whatever. It's kind of like all of the poster threads on here

All depends on the gig - the eV shows were totally intense - refresh like crazy and keep your fingers crossed you saw the magic "BUY" button. Were gone in seconds (save and except maybe Montreal #2). Correct me if I am wrong, but the PJ shows were different...most of the shows were available for a solid couple of mins (save and except a few i.e. MSG) hell, some shows in the south were available for days.

I miss the old days of checking shows off on a postcard and then mailing in a check...
