USPS/Poster Damage Problem

A few days ago I ordered a Boston II 08 Poster off eBay for a great deal of $47.00 with free shipping. Today was the day it was supposed to be delivered to me. However, today was also the day that a giant rain storm was supposed to come my way. This rainstorm has been forecast for a couple of days. So...when I came to my house and noticed that my poster had arrived, I also noticed that it was being rained on in a giant puddle on my doorstep. I brought it inside and prayed to god that there was not extreme damage, but there is. The paper is severely warped and floppy due to the rain. My question is...will UPS claim responsibility at all? They could have put it in a trash bag, anything to protect it from the water. I'm just so mad that a perfectly good poster has been ruined due to the water damage. It frustrates me.

    USPS failed man. Its their problem its ruined they shoulda known to cover it up or with something. You deserve a refund

    was it sent with insurance?
    If it was they might give you back the money for the value the shipper claimed on the package.

    Shit man, PO LOST TWO OF MY POSTERS...I contacted 10C and they said 'sorry, we sent 'em!' Out $80 and NO POSTERS shit.....

    I am a frequent ebay buyer, but I NEVER buy anything of value without insurance. If insurance is not offered, I don't buy it. I bought the xmas single with love regin o'er me on it, got damaged by rain. Insurance covered my cost and I was actually able to re-buy the single plus another for the same amount. Always insure your purchase. ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :!:
